THIS WORKAROUND DOES NOT GIVE YOU THE NEW FEATURES OF CATERPILLAR 1.2 BECAUSE IT HAS NOT BEEN HACKED YET THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO UPDATED ACCIDENTALLY AND WANT TO KEEP USING CATERPILLAR FOR FREE SO IF YOU HAVENT UPDATED DONT UPDATE YET AND WAIT UNTIL THEY HACK THE NEW VERSION WHICH I WILL POST HERE AS SOON AS IT COMES OUT
"Caterpillar 1.2 was released a little while ago and it fixes the exploit that allowed you to get it free. If it does not appear yet, refresh your sources.
To workaround it, all you have to do is:
1) Add the source http://repository.ripdev.com/ and install Caterpillar in the RiP Category. Press the home button and let it restart SpringBoard, but when you slide to unlock DO NOT launch Caterpillar.
2) Add the R.I.P. Dev source (http://sephone.nm.ru/ripdev.xml ) and install R.I.P. Dev in the RiP Category. Press the home button and slide to unlock.
3) Open Settings and turn WiFi off. Press the home button and launch Caterpillar. It will give you an error. Press the home button and restart your iPod.
4) Open Settings and you sohuld have an RiP option at the bottom. You can also turn WiFi back on.
DO NOT EVER OPEN CATERPILLAR AGAIN!
The new feature with Caterpillar 1.2 is that you are able to uninstall applications like you would remove web clips from the SpringBoard. I am working on getting this and I will post back when I have figured it out."

try goin into caterpillar and unchecking all the options and hit install then go to installer uninstall caterpillar and rip dev and start over again....u can install caterpillar 1.1 if u wish since its still on installer named caterpillar (old)
